Why did we choose aluminum?

As a naturally opaque material, aluminum fully blocks UV light, keeping products fresher for longer. It is also incredibly lightweight and does not degrade or rust over time. Depending on the shape of the container, it can be washed out and reused time and again.

Our favorite feature of aluminum is that it is infinitely recyclable! It can be reused for different purposes continually without the risk of breaking down and having to go to landfill. Around 75% of all aluminum ever produced in the US is still in use today. During the recycling process, it takes about 95% of the energy used in the initial production. The more times it is recycled, the better it is for the planet.
